Tennis
Fargo Country Club is home to one of the region’s most active tennis programs, and offers two Har-Tru tennis courts and two artificial grass tennis courts for our members to enjoy from Spring – Fall. The tennis courts are conveniently surrounded by wind screens to maintain a pleasant environment on the windiest of days.
Our professional tennis staff offers both individual and group lessons for players of all ages throughout the season. For players looking for more competitive outlets, the club runs an adult league throughout the summer months.
HOW TO RESERVE A COURT:
First come, first served. It is very rare that there will be no court available.
RACKET MAINTENANCE:
Our tennis program offers a full service for racket maintenance including restringing and maintenance to any Racquetball racket
KIDS BEGINNER LESSONS - TUESDAY, MAY 14TH
Kids ages 6-9 from 4-4:30pm
Kids ages 10-13 from 4:30-5pm
During these lessons, kids will be introduced to the game of tennis and taught proper techniques through a combination of fun games and drills. Sign-up is required Cost is $20/person.
FAMILY BEGINNER LESSON - TUESDAY, MAY 21ST FROM 4:30-5PM
These lessons are designed for families with kids and will focus on instruction of basic skills and also provide fun activities that that families are able to practice together both on and off the court. Spots are limited and sign up is required. Cost is $35 per family.
LESSON RATES:
Individual/Private Lessons: $50 per hour / Student works one-on-one with the instructor
Individual tennis lessons are available Monday - Friday during normal club hours (additional times available upon request). Participants are asked to set up lessons at least 24 hours in advance.
Group Lessons: $50 per hour
For players who want to brush up on their skills in a relaxed group setting, the club offers a full schedule of clinics in a more social setting throughout the season. In these lessons, you will work on a combination of competitive drills and games within your group. Members are able to make their own groups.
Half-Hour Lessons: $25 per hour
An extra $5 per person per hour will be added to the group rate if more than four people participate in the group lesson.
