David has been with the club since April 2019. He started working at a golf course when he was 13. He fell in love with the game and two years later knew he would make a career out of working at a club. He graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1990 with a degree in Mathematics and turned professional in 1991 as he began working as an assistant golf pro at the Country Club of Sioux Falls. During the summer months of '92 & '93 he played the mini Winter tours in Florida. In 1996, he became a member of The Professional Golfer's Association of America. From October 1993 to 2019 he developed his professional resume in Arizona as an Assistant Golf Professional, Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf and Owner/GM of his own management company before moving to Fargo and becoming the General Manager of Fargo Country Club. He enjoys the relationships he has developed with the members and the FCC staff and is an avid upland game bird hunter.
